PM Says More New Hospitals Are on the Way

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized that the Royal Government will continue to build large-scale public hospitals across the country akin to the "Techo Santepheap National Hospital", which was inaugurated today.

Speaking at the hospital’s inauguration ceremony on October 24, the PM said, "In the future, I am confident that every Cambodian will have access to better health care, and we will have a series of such large-scale hospitals in key areas throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.”

The Prime Minister instructed doctors to take care of the treatment and care of patients at all levels and from all walks of life. In particular, he advised all health centers and hospitals to improve the quality of health services to all people.

"We must ensure that public hospitals are a place of saving the lives with virtue, compassion and a reliable source of trust for the people of Cambodia across the country," he said.
